Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
The symptoms of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome vary from person to person. I work with each of my clients to review their symptoms and explore what’s happening inside their bodies. I know that it’s important to understand the condition if you want to improve your health and control your symptoms.
Together, in 1 on 1 consultations, I can help you to identify ways to control your PCOS. I draw on a combination of diet, wellness, stress reduction and other techniques.
If you’ve been diagnosed with PCOS, you have probably been told to lose weight. This is the advice that most women are given by doctors and specialists, when in fact research shows that it is incredibly difficult for women with PCOS to lose weight. This can leave them feeling frustrated and that it is their fault they have an issue. For many such women, they then actually can develop emotional or disordered eating, which makes the situation feel overwhelming for them and can result in further weight gain.
I work with women with PCOS, to ensure they are eating in a way that supports mental and physical wellbeing, that manages their symptoms looking at a holistic approach. Many factors influence PCOS – stress, sleep, nutrients and exercise. These can all be used in a way to support or aggravate PCOS.
Contact me today to book your first 1 on 1 consultation. We can work together to manage your condition and explore the opportunities to improve your health.
